Description: In this one day intensive class, Cara will help demystify printing on a gelatin
plate to achieve a true collectible fine art print. What is a Monotype anyway? A monotype is essentially ONE of a kind: mono is a Latin word which means ONE and type means kind. Therefore, a monotype is one printed image which does not have any form of matrix. This is different from a monoprint that has some form of basic matrix that is repeatable. Monotypes are truely one of a kind, unique pieces of artwork.
