Week 1: Nature’s Lines
July 8 – 10
Inspired by Arthur Wesley Dow’s love of design and nature, students will create ink scrolls using brushwork and observation from the museum’s meadow. Each day explores a new design element: line, notan, and color; culminating in a unique scrolls that blends rhythm, shape, and expressive mark-making.
